The first quarter of 2016 finished out H...O...T! Colorado Springs home sales jumped 16.2% in March of this year over March of 2015. The inventory of actively listed homes was only 1,923 homes as of April 1st. Prices are still on the rise, with the average sales price ($268,011) up 3.3% in March over the same month in 2015.
The 24% decrease in active homes from last year is creating a bit of a sticky situation for some buyers in certain price points where they are entering into competing offers.
